Allow me to share my 10 compelling reasons why I am enjoining you to use the Evision Devotional Journal
This is my personal conviction as impressed by the Holy Spirit during my personal devotion with the Lord God. As we delight in God – our exceeding joy; may this be our same desire as expressed by David in (Psalm 27:4, NLT)
“The one thing I ask of the Lord- the thing I seek most – is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in His Temple.”
It is my prayer that every Bible believing and born again Christian; especially my brothers and sisters at ECMI, will reflect and seriously consider these 10 reasons.
A godly lifestyle of daily personal
devotions using the EVision
Devotional Journal will flood our
lives with God’s blessings.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
1) “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30)
The E Vision Devotional Journal has been designed to meet this supreme spiritual objective of any believer in Christ through a free flowing daily format. The devotions use learning and relational approaches to impact on the cognitive (mind), the affective (heart), and the behavioral (strength) with full dependence on the Spirit’s work (soul). This devotional journal can help us better internalize God’s spiritual lessons to us daily as it engages our heart, our soul, our mind, and our strength.
The critical areas (as mentioned in the above Scripture) of our relationship to the Lord are all addressed in the evision devotional journal.
2) “Show me, O LORD, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting is my life.” (Psalm 39:4)
Life is indeed fleeting and we are to live our lives as if this could be our last day. Our life now is a preparation for the real life to come. This devotional journal will help us to be better prepared for God’s mission for us while here on earth.
3) Jesus Christ may return at any time. He is coming back very soon.
This year, I attended the “Signs of the Times” conference sponsored by CCF. Joel Rosenberg, well-known and best selling author, biblical scholar, and believer in Christ; described the closeness of Jesus’ imminent return based on the signs of the times and the fulfilled biblical prophecies on His return: In Rosenberg’s own words “His hand is on the doorknob, and He can open the door and come at any time.”
Are we ready each day for His return? The EVision Devotional Journal can keep us close to God’s heartbeat and cognizant and sensitive of these end times.
4) We are to give an account to God of everything we did.
It is not only stewardship of the resources, the spiritual gifts, and how we handled the Word of truth correctly, but also how we spent our daily time that will be revealed. By not spending quality time daily in the Lord, we neglect our highest priority for the day. Are we faithful stewards of time with the Lord? The EVision Devotional Journal will make us godly stewards of time. In essence, it shall be a powerful “meeting” with the Lord, day by day. Let us begin today as God has richly blessed us with every perfect gift.
5) Significant/Critical time (even in a day) missed out is forever lost.
According to Andy Stanley (from the DVD- “Best Question Ever”), “significant time that is missed out can never be made up.” There is no such thing as a make up. This means that daily significant time with the Lord that is forsaken is forever lost. And yes, something significant does happen daily with the Lord God. But how can we know; if , we don’t spend quality time daily with God. However, the good thing is- we can begin today using the daily devotional journal.
6) “For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3)
We are exposed daily to the world system whose god is the evil one. We cannot avoid it all the time. The only solution to such a dilemma is a life hidden with Christ. But how can we escape such daily exposure? The answer for us is a daily engagement and time with God.
Completing the EVision Devotional Journal daily will tilt the balance for us through God’s loving favor. This way, we can respond with the Lord’s powerful name, ways, values, and principles because we are “in touch” with Him on a daily basis. We can repulse the world system’s controlling moves, traps, snares, challenges, issues, circumstances, and temptations as we are being equipped on a daily basis through the devotional journal.
7) From a perspective of risks, we want our daily walk to be fully dependent on God.
“Are we a 116/365 Christian?” That’s perfect attendance in an entire year’s worship services, family prayer meetings, and Egroup meetings. In the same vein, would you be happy and safe with an internet security software that functions 116 days only out of a real total of 365 days in a year? Of course not! Neither is God pleased when we forsake Him on certain days! Our omission may not have been deliberate, but we were lacking in intentionally meeting Him daily! Are we not at greater risk then by not spending daily time with the Lord? We all need to spend daily quality time with the Lord. We are easy targets for the enemy’s deceptions and schemes if we don’t spend quality time daily with God. The consequences of such neglect are even underestimated when we consider what really goes on in the unseen/spiritual realm. Again, the devotional journal used with reliance on God can turn that around for us.
8) “The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” (Galatians 6:8)
God wants to outpour His blessings to us – daily. Don’t miss out communing with God every day, resting in Him every day, worshiping the Lord every day -for a lifetime! Through God’s Spirit and the tool – EVision Devotional Journal, our lives can be fortified by aligning them to God’s perfect plan for us, having God-inspired devotions one day at a time.
9) Undeniably, we are soldiers for Christ!
Like it or not, we need to engage in daily spiritual warfare! Notice that the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) is a complete spiritual armor from head to foot. Nothing is missed out! This is the same for us as the days are evil, each single day must be seized for Christ! We cannot afford to have a day or most days in a week, when we are just passive or reactive- a life vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks. These two (spiritual warfare and daily devotions) go together, always! Spiritual warfare with the whole armor of God and quality time with the Lord daily are inseparable. We do not need to be lame ducks and easy prey for the enemy’s attacks. We are, though, if we don’t spend quality time daily with God. Why not spend daily devotions using the user-friendly devotional journal?
10) “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm- neither hot nor cold- I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” (Revelation 3:15-16)
Are we hot for the Lord? Have we yielded all the daily time God has given to us to know and to love Him? Maybe, we need that spark, that friction, that igniting agent – to cause that blazing fire for the Lord God! This evision devotional journal is an available instrument free for us to use beginning today.
Do we need a turning point, a critical turnaround so we can adore God Almighty with such divine-sent awe, wonder, marvel, consuming passion, pure, and childlike devotion in every single day for the rest of our lives? Do we experience God for Who He Is, and what He’s done – worshiping Him for His Holy Splendor, Sovereign Might, and His divine excellencies on a daily mode? Perhaps, there is nothing more fulfilling than a radical and powerful encounter with God delivered in His divine love for us, this can be a daily transformational experience with God. We are meant to have a supernatural life for Christ, a life totally surrendered to Him – daily. The EVision Devotional Journal cannot guarantee such wonderful realities, but it will be a defining step of faith as we seek God daily, in all earnest – and with all that we are. Begin, stay with it, and God will reward us as no One else can.
